Meeting The Jumping Percheron

We had the pleasure of meeting Stacey at The Jumping Percheron recently! Stacey has been riding since the very young age of 6, and absolutely loves it. We're proud to report that Stacy is the first, and only, Certified Equestrian Fitness Trainer in Hawaii - that's quite an accomplishment.

She describes her Percheron like "she's my own flesh and blood daughter", so it's refreshing to see how dedicated Stacy is to her horse and horse jumping! Check out her recent post, "Drumroll Please..." and the many great photos and video of Stacy and her horse riding - it's certainly impressive. We wish Stacy the best of luck in her career, and we know she'll always be dedicated to horses!

It's True! You Must Love Horses

Say hello to Jaime Lind from Must Love Horses! Jaime is one great lady we had the pleasure of meeting recently, and she has such a bright, refreshing outlook! Her blog posts describe her love for horses and pursuing her dream of riding around the country in all 50 states, and perhaps a few other countries as well.

Ride along with Jaime and her wonderful horse, Ray, as she enjoys her many adventures and works to fulfill her dream! The posts are beautifully written, with Jaime finding just the right words to describe how riding her horse makes her feel, and describing the location she's currently riding in. It put such a smile on our faces to read one of Jaime's reflections, "At this moment, I was happy. True happiness is so rarely felt, but this is one of those occasions". We hope you'll read more of what Jaime has to say on the Must Love Horses blog.

Riding Along With The C-Horse Event Team!

The C-Horse Event Team blog is one of our favorite horse blogs, and is authored by the very determined and inspiring Cassidy. Even at a young age, Cassidy showed her determination to learning everything she could about proper horse training by making sacrifices to be able to afford formal lessons. She learned that her commitment to horses was real, and has fallen in love with eventing since then.

The C-Horse Event Team blog captures Cassidy's lively spirit and dedication to horse eventing, and her blog will certainly inspire you to keep up with your own dreams, and do all you can to make them a reality! Read about the day to day life of how Cassidy works to ensure her dream continues to be a reality, and her many inspiring triumphs!

Victory Pass

A weekend of success at the Magnolia Summer Sizzler provided us the opportunity to make several victory passes. "Akeylaimed" won 6 firsts in his 4th show including the Open Half Arabian Hunter Championship and the Amateur Half Arabian Hunter Championship. AKA "Booger" is such a trooper and an incredibly honest horse, he makes showing a real pleasure.

Guy Benefield is an amateur chef and invited Bill and I to a Brazilian style dinner cooked over a fire grill. The roast was incredible, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Bill isn't one for vegetables but he loved the Brazilian chopped vegetable salad and fire warmed garlic bread. He thinks I need to take lessons. It was an awesome Saturday evening at the horse show. Thank you Guy & Jeanne!

Personalize Glass & Crystal

There is not a better way to make a gift special, than personalizing it for the recipient. Things to consider in choosing the right crystal or glass piece are
1) Consider the quantity of text or image you wish to have engraved or etched.
2) Is the area to be engraved or etched flat and allow sufficient space to accomodate the message?
3) Are there multiiple curves that will distort text and/or image.
If you are not certain that your choice will work, contact us direct via email or phone. We would be delighted to assist you in your choices! http://www.horseandwildlifegifts.com/product-crystal-glass.html

You all have a great day and we will chat soon!

Never To Late To Learn

Hi Friends!

We are living proof that it is never to late to learn! A year ago I could not scan a picture. Today, I figured out how to create our store image in our BLOG. No small feat for someone who is incredibly technically challenged. If you haven't tried to customize your blog, Why not? If you don't like it you can remove and change it. Have a good weekend.
